Door Hinge Assembly Overview

• The illustration shows a right door hinge. The left door hinge is identical.

• Always replace the door hinge bolts after loosening them.






1 Door

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Door ] Front Door

• Adjusting, refer to => [ Door, Adjusting ] Door, Adjusting

2 Upper part of door hinge

• Hinge is divided

3 Socket head bolt

• M8 x24

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm + 1/4 (90 °) additional turn

• Always replace bolts after removing them.

4 Socket head bolt

• M8 x 24

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm + 1/4 (90 °) additional turn

• Remove when removing door

• Always replace bolts after removing them.

5 Lower part of door hinge with door arrester

• Hinge is divided

6 Socket head bolt

• M8x28

• Installed from the vehicle interior

• Remove the lower A-pillar trim.

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm + 1/4 (90 °) additional turn

• Always replace bolts after removing them.

7 Socket head bolt

• M8 x24

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm + 1/4 (90 °) additional turn

• Always replace bolts after removing them.

8 Lower part of door hinge

• Hinge is divided

• Lower part is connected to upper part - 9 - with hex nut - 11 -.

9 Socket head bolt

• Quantity: 2

• M8 x24

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm + 1/4 (90 °) additional turn

• Always replace bolts after removing them.

10 Upper part of door hinge

• Hinge is divided

• Upper part is connected to lower part - 7 - with hex nut - 11 -.

11 Socket head bolt

• M8 x 24

• Tightening specification: 20 Nm + 1/4 (90 °) additional turn

• Always replace bolts after removing them.

12 Hex nut

• Tightening specification: 28 Nm

• This hex nut should be removed from hinge in order to remove door.
