DSG(R) Electric/Electronic Components and Locations

The electric components are located in the transmission.

Only the selector lever sensor system control module (J587) and the shift lock solenoid (N110) are located on the selector lever.






1 DSG Transmission Mechatronic (J743)

• Behind the large metal cover.

• Removing and installing, with the transmission installed. Refer to => [ DSG Transmission Mechatronic (J743), Transmission Installed ] DSG Transmission Mechatronic (J743), Transmission Installed.

• Removing and installing, with the transmission removed. Refer to => [ DSG Transmission Mechatronic (J743), Transmission Removed ] DSG Transmission Mechatronic (J743), Transmission Removed.

2 Transmission Input Speed Sensor (G182) and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor (G509)

• The DSG transmission Mechatronic must be removed first, before the sensor can be removed. Refer to => [ DSG Transmission Mechatronic (J743), Transmission Installed ] DSG Transmission Mechatronic (J743), Transmission Installed.

3 Selector Lever (E313)
