Intake Air Grille

Removing

- Remove plenum chamber cover

- Remove cover - 1 - from plenum chamber.





• From 11.05.08 with Climatronic, a bracket with an air quality sensor (G238) is installed on the intake air grille.

• Air quality sensor (G238) function => [ Air Quality Sensor Function ] Description and Operation.

- Release the air quality sensor (G238) - 1 - and rotate it to the right to remove it from the bracket.





- Remove the flange nuts - arrows - (2.5 ± 0.4 Nm) and remove the intake air grille upward.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Seal must be seated correctly on intake air grille.

Assembly sequence:

- Align the intake air grille on the flange.

- Hold the intake air grille and install the side flange nuts (2.5 ± 0.4 Nm) and then the center flange nut.
