Sunroof, Checking Function, Cleaning and Lubricating Guide Rails

Required special tools

- Lint-free cloths

- Grease (G 060 172 A3) for the seals.

- Lithium grease (G 052 147 A2) for the mechanical parts.

- Brush






• Paint brush (approximately 15 mm wide) (bend approximately 40°).

• Clean all components that are going to be lubricated using a lint-free cloth.

- Glass panel position:






- Lubricate the front part first with the glass panel open and the tilt the glass panel in the rear.

- Coat the glass panel seal - arrow - completely with grease (G 060 172 A3).

- Glass panel position:






- Open the glass panel all the way.

- Lubricate the inside of the side guide rails -arrow- with lithium grease (G 052 147 A2).

- Glass panel position:






- Open the glass panel all the way.

- Lubricate the inside of the side guide rails for the sliding panel -arrow- with lithium grease (G 052 147 A2).

- Glass panel position:






- Open the glass panel all the way.

- Lubricate the inside of the side guide rails for the sliding panel -arrow- with lithium grease (G 052 147 A2).
