Engine Pre-Warmer

Engine Pre-Warmer

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Refractometer (T10007)

• Drip Tray for VAS 6100 (VAS 6208)

• Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) (V.A.G 1331)

• Hose Clip Pliers (VAS 6362)

Removing

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Drain the coolant. Refer to => [ Draining and Filling ] Draining and Filling.

- Loosen the coolant hose clamp and remove the coolant hose from the connection - arrow A -.






- Unclip the retainer and disconnect the engine pre-warmer connector - arrow D -.

- Loosen the coolant hose clamp and remove the coolant hose from the connection - arrow E -.

- Release the clamp - arrow B - and remove the engine pre-warmer - arrow C - downward.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

- Fill with coolant. Refer to => [ Draining and Filling ] Draining and Filling.

- Install the noise insulation.
