Engine Pre-Warmer

Engine Pre-Warmer

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Refractometer (T10007)

• Drip tray for workshop crane (VAS 6208)

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

• Spring-type clip pliers (VAS 6362)

Removing

- Remove insulation pan.

- Drain coolant. Refer to --> [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] [1][2]Cooling System, Draining and Filling.

- Loosen coolant hose clamp and remove coolant hose from connection - arrow A -.





- Unclip connector retainer and remove engine pre-warmer connection - arrow D -.

- Loosen coolant hose clamp and remove coolant hose from the connection - arrow E -.

- Release clamp - arrow B - and remove engine pre-warmer - arrow C - downward.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

- Fill with coolant. Refer to --> [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] [1][2]Cooling System, Draining and Filling.

- Install insulation pan..
