Engine, Securing on Engine and Transmission Holder VAS 6095

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Lifting tackle (3033)

• Engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095)

• Shop crane (VAS 6100)

To perform the procedure, secure the engine to the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095) with the universal mounting (VAS 6095/1).

Conditions

• The transmission is separated from the engine.

Procedure

- Engage engine sling (3033) as follows and raise slightly with the shop crane (VAS 6100).





Flywheel side:

• Position 4.

Vibration damper side:

• Position 8.

- Secure the engine on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095) with the universal mounting (VAS 6095/1).
