Removing

- Remove the rear lid trim.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 - on the handle button connection - 1 -.





- Remove the two nuts - 2 - from the handle button threaded pin and remove the cover piece - 4 - upward.

- Remove the handle button - 1 - from the rear lid.

In case of an electrical fault, rear lid can be opened at lock emergency release.The emergency release is reached through an opening in the rear lid trim.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening specification for nuts: 8 Nm

Before the rear lid is closed, a function test of the unlocking components must be performed.
