Noise Generator Assembly Overview

CAUTION!
The charge air hose clamps must be tightened to 5.5 Nm. An insufficient or excessive tightening torque can cause the charge air hose to come off the charge air pipe while driving.

• Charge air pipe to noise generator removing and installing. Refer to --> [ Charge Air Pipe to Noise Generator ] Service and Repair.





1 Cover

2 Bolt, 8 Nm

3 Plenum Chamber Bulkhead

4 Hood

• For the duct to the plenum chamber bulkhead.

5 Charge Air Pipe

• Disconnecting and connecting, refer to --> [ Charge Air Hose Connector Coupling, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Charge Air Hose Connector Coupling, Disconnecting and Connecting.

6 Hose Clamp

7 Charge Air Hose

8 Bolt, 8 Nm

9 Spacer Sleeve

10 Rubber Bushing

11 Noise Generator

• Before removal, remove the cover - item 1 -.

12 Bracket

• For the noise generator.

13 Nut, 8 Nm
