EVAP System Assembly Overview





1 Nut, 6 Nm

2 Leak Detection Pump (LDP) (V144)

• Component location: Under the wheel housing liner in the right rear wheel housing.

• EVAP system function overview, refer to --> [ EVAP System Function Overview ] [1][2]EVAP System Function Overview.

• Leak Detection Pump (LDP) vacuum supply, checking. Refer to --> [ Leak Detection Pump, Checking Vacuum Supply ] Leak Detection Pump, Checking Vacuum Supply.

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Leak Detection Pump ] Service and Repair.

• Checking fuel supply system for leaks, refer to --> [ Fuel System, Checking for Leaks ] Fuel System, Checking for Leaks.

• Fuel system leak test, refer to --> [ Fuel System Leak Test ] Fuel System Leak Test.

3 Connector

4 Vacuum Line

• To the vacuum pump.

• Ensure the line is securely seated.

5 Fuel Filler Tube

• Fuel tank and attachments assembly overview. Refer to --> [ Fuel Tank and Attachments Assembly Overview ] Fuel Tank and Attachments Assembly Overview.

6 Vent Line

• Behind the wheel housing liner.

• Ensure the line is securely seated.

• To disconnect, press the release button on the connection piece.

7 Connecting Line

• Behind the wheel housing liner.

• Ensure the line is securely seated.

8 Bolt, 3 Nm

9 Air Filter Housing

• For the LDP.

10 Vent Line

• On the underbody.

• Ensure the line is securely seated.

• Push in the securing ring to pull off.

11 Vent Line

• To the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve.

• Ensure the line is securely seated.

• Push in the securing ring to pull off.

12 Spacer Sleeve

13 Cover

• For the EVAP canister.

14 Bolt, 8 Nm

15 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister

• Component location: Bottom of the spare the wheel well.

• EVAP system function overview, refer to --> [ EVAP System Function Overview ] [1][2]EVAP System Function Overview.

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ EVAP Canister ] Service and Repair.

16 Connecting Line

• On the underbody.

• Ensure the line is securely seated.

• Push in the securing ring to pull off.

17 Connecting Hose

• Ensure the hose is securely seated.

18 Bracket

• For the LDP.

19 Bolt, 2 Nm
