1 Bolt, 18 Nm
• For transmission housing cover
2 Transmission housing cover
• If transmission housing cover is removed and installed with transmission installed, drain and refill gear oil --> [ Transmission Oil, Checking and Filling ] Transmission Oil, Checking and Filling
Please note that a small amount of oil escapes when removing cover.
Therefore, gear oil must be topped off to 1.8 L after installing cover.
3 Gasket
4 Bolt, 80 Nm plus an additional 90°
• Always replace
• Holds plate spring in position with fitting piece on bolt head
• Clean synchronizer hub and 5th gear drive gear threaded holes of locking compound residue with a thread tap. Otherwise, there is the danger that the bolts could shear off.
