Windshield Wiper System

CAUTION!
When disconnecting and connecting the battery, the procedure must be followed as described in the Repair information. Refer to --> [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] .



General Information

The Wiper Motor Control Module (J400) is integrated with the Windshield Wiper Motor (V).

To remove wiper blades, wiper arms must be driven into "service/winter position". The "service/winter position" is activated by operating the windshield wiper lever in the "one-touch wiping" position within 10 seconds after switching off the ignition. Refer to --> Owner's Manual.





On Board Diagnostic Function

The Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) is equipped with OBD.

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051A) under "Guided Fault Finding".
