Central Locking System Component Locations





1 Alarm Signal Horn

• Location: In right front wheel housing under rear section of wheel housing liner (removing rear section of wheel housing liner. Refer to --> [ Front Wheel Housing Liner ] Front Wheel Housing Liner.

2 Coupling Station

• Location: right A-pillar

• To disconnect harness connector, release boots at A-pillar. Refer to --> [ Door ] Service and Repair

3 Central Control Module For Comfort System (J393)

• Location: Under instrument panel, front passenger's side, behind glove compartment (removing glove compartment.)

4 Front Passenger's Door Control Module (J387)

• Integrated in window regulator motor (removing window regulator motor. Refer to --> [ Window Regulator Motor ] Front Door Window)

5 Door Lock

• Door lock is secured to door inner part. Refer to --> [ Door Lock ] Service and Repair

• Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock.

6 Coupling Station

• Location: right B-pillar.

• To disconnect harness connector, release boots at B-pillar. Refer to --> [ Door ]

7 Right Rear Door Control Module (J389)

• Integrated in window regulator motor

• Removing, sedan, refer to --> [ Window Regulator Motor ]

• Removing, wagon, refer to --> [ Window Regulator Motor ] Rear Door Windows, Wagon

8 Door Lock

• Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock.

• Removing, sedan, refer to --> [ Door Lock ]

• Removing, wagon, refer to --> [ Door Lock ] Service and Repair

9 Fuel Tank Lid Unlock Motor (V155)

• Location: Behind right side luggage compartment trim

• Removing, sedan, refer to --> [ Fuel Tank Door Unit ]

• Removing, wagon, refer to --> [ Fuel Tank Door Unit ] Fuel Tank Door Unit, Wagon

10 Rear Lid Lock

• Location: Bolted on rear lid.

• Removing, sedan, refer to --> [ Rear Lid Lock ]

• Removing, wagon, refer to --> [ Rear Lid Lock ] Service and Repair

11 Rear Lid Handle Unlock Switch (E234)

• Not installed on all vehicles

• Integrated into the rear lid grip piece (Grip piece, sedan, removing, refer to --> [ Grip Piece ] )

• Removing, wagon, refer to --> [ Release Button ] Service and Repair

12 Rear Lid Coupling Station

• Sedan installation location: Behind left side luggage compartment trim

• Wagon installation location: on rear of roof crossmember (lower molded headliner.)

13 Door Lock

• Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock.

14 Left Rear Door Control Module (J388)

• Integrated in window regulator motor

• Removing, sedan, refer to --> [ Window Regulator Motor ]

15 Coupling Station

• Location: left B-pillar

• To disconnect harness connector, release boots at B-pillar, refer to --> [ Door ]

16 Door Lock

• Door lock is secured to door inner part (removing door lock, refer to --> [ Door Lock ] Service and Repair)

• Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock.

17 Central Switch for Window Regulator

• Location: installed in door trim

18 Driver Door Control Module (J386)

• Integrated in window regulator motor (removing window regulator motor, refer to --> [ Window Regulator Motor ] Front Door Window)

19 Coupling Station

• Location: left A-pillar

• To disconnect harness connector, release boots at A-pillar, refer to --> [ Door ] Service and Repair

20 Front Hood Switch (F266)

• Contact switch for anti-theft warning system

• Cannot be replaced individually

• Location: On hood lock (removing hood lock, refer to --> [ Hood Lock ] Service and Repair)
