Glass Sunroof Panel Seals

- Remove the rear glass sunroof panel. Refer to --> [ Rear Glass Panel ] Rear Glass Panel.

Replacing Front and Inner Seal

- Remove the seal from the rear glass sunroof panel - 1 -.





• Front seal - 2 -

• Inner seal - 3 -

- Remove any adhesive residue with Adhesive Remover (VAS 6349).

- The adhesion surface on the rear glass sunroof panel must be free of dust and grease.

- Clean adhesion surface thoroughly using Cleaning Solution (D 009 401 04).

- Wipe the adhesive surface on the rear glass sunroof panel using the primer towel supplied.

• Always pay attention to the drying time for the primer towel supplied.

- Remove the protective strip from the adhesive on the new seal and press the seal on both ends.

- Press seal on evenly to prevent any excess length.

- Press the seal evenly using the roller (3356).

- Install the rear glass sunroof panel. Refer to --> [ Rear Glass Panel ] Rear Glass Panel

Replacing side seal

- Remove the side seal - 2 - from the rear glass sunroof panel profile - 1 -.





• The seal is supplied with excess length. Cut the new seal to the necessary length. It is recommended to leave the seal 1 - 2 mm longer than necessary so that it can be stretched during installation.

- Remove any adhesive residue with Adhesive Remover (VAS 6349).

- The adhesion surface on the rear glass sunroof panel must be free of dust and grease.

- Clean adhesion surface thoroughly using Cleaning Solution (D 009 401 04).

- Wipe the adhesive surface on the rear glass sunroof panel using the primer towel supplied.

• Always pay attention to the drying time for the primer towel supplied.

- Remove the protective foil from the adhesive tape on the new seal.

- Attach the new seal - 2 - with the retainer - 1 - to the glass sunroof panel - 3 -.





- Press the seal on both ends.

- Press the seal - 2 - on to the glass sunroof panel profile - 1 - even out any excess length.





- Press the seal evenly using the roller (3356).

- Install the rear glass sunroof panel. Refer to --> [ Rear Glass Panel ] Rear Glass Panel.
