1 Cylinder block

2 Locking bolt, 30 Nm

• With rolled up seal.

• The bore in the cylinder block is used for securing the crankshaft with locking pin (T40069).

3 Knock Sensor (KS) 1 (G61)

• Note installation position: Wire connection points downward vertically.

4 Bolt, 20 Nm

• Tightening specification affects function of the KS.

5 Bolt, 10 Nm

6 Heat shield

7 Bayonet connection

8 Wire clamp

• Clamped on the heat shield.

9 Knock Sensor (KS) 2 (G66)

• Note installation position: wire connection points 45 degrees toward the right on the outside.

10 Wire bracket

• Bolted to Secondary Air Injection (AIR) valve.

11 Connector

• Green for the KS 1.

• Contacts are gold plated.

12 Connector

• Gray for the KS 2.

• Contacts are gold plated.
