Front Interior Light, without Sunroof

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (VAS 3409)

CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove ignition key.

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool (VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

• The following components are integrated into the Front Interior Light (W1):

• Front Interior Light (W1)

• Left Center Reading Light (W39)

• Right Center Reading Light (W40)

• The components cannot be replaced separately. The entire Front Interior Light (W1) must be replaced.

Removing

- Carefully pry the trim out of the Front Interior Light - arrows - using the (VAS 3409).





- Remove screws - arrows -.





- Remove the Front Interior Light from the console in the molded headliner.

- Disconnect connectors - arrows -.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
