Boot with Shifter Knob and Noise Insulation

Removing

- Pull boot upward out of center console frame or carefully pry out - arrows -.





On some equipment versions, you must pry out boot at front area.

- Roll boot up over shifter knob.





- Open clamp - arrow - and remove shifter knob and boot.

In some equipment versions, the center console frame remains in center console.

- Then the center console frame must be pulled out or carefully pried out - arrow 1 -.





- Remove noise insulation - arrow 2 -.

Installing

- First insert noise insulation

Noise insulation installation location





The - arrow A - is pointing in driving direction.

Notches - B arrows - must engage in center console.

- Then press frame into center console.

- Then turn inner side of boot toward outside.

- Install shifter knob and boot and press new clamp together - arrow -.





When connecting, shifter knob must engage all around in the shift lever groove.

- Then press boot into frame in center console.
