Removal

Standard interior rearview mirror

- Pull off rear edge of trim - 1 - (with clock) downward from roof trim and disengage trim at front edge.





- Disconnect harness connector - 2 - for interior light (and clock).

Automatic dimming interior rearview mirror or interior rearview mirror with Telematics control head (USA)

- Pull trim (with clock) - 1 - against spring pressure toward rear - arrow A - and disengage trim at front edge - arrow B -.





- Pull trim - 1 - downward at rear edge.

- Disconnect connectors.

Interior rearview mirror, convertible

- Pull off rear edge of trim - 1 - (with clock) downward - arrow A - from roof trim and disengage trim at front edge - arrow B -.





- Disconnect harness connector - 2 - for interior light (and clock).

Procedure for all vehicles

- Pull the interior rearview mirror - 1 - down at an angle - arrow - to release from the retaining plate (retaining springs in mirror base).





Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
