Installation Information

- Apply adhesive material all around onto pre-coating - 1 - at right angle to window.





• Window must be installed within 10 minutes, otherwise bonding properties of window adhesive will be impaired.

• Insert window into window cut out using two double suction lifters ((VAG 1344) ), center and press in up to spacer.

• Attach side window from the front and rear window from above with protruding sealing lips.

• Gap dimension of windshield, refer to => [ Windshield Assembly Overview ]. Windshield Assembly Overview

• Rear window gap dimension, refer to => [ Rear Window Assembly Overview ]. Rear Window Assembly Overview

• Secure windshield using window adjuster ((443 845 631 A)) during curing time.

• Re-attach any labels (e.g. for airbag).

• Secure window glasses during curing time using adhesive tape.

• If the adhesive bead has been applied too thick and the adhesive expands onto the area of the window heating, then the excess adhesive must be removed.
