Steering Columns, Distinguishing Characteristics

Steering column - A -, manufactured by Nacam was used up to 01.00.

Steering column - B -, manufactured by Presta has been used from 02.00.

The height and longitudinal adjustment function is identical for both steering columns.

Both versions are available as replacement parts.

When replacing steering columns, only the same manufacturer may be used.

The steering column should be checked for which version is installed in the vehicle before removing.

A - Steering column manufacturer: Nacam through 01.00

B - Steering column manufacturer: Presta from 02.00





1 Secure for transport

• Only remove it after steering column has been installed.

2 Steering column

• Nacom column: steering column is not visible in this area.

• Presta column: lower section of steering column is visible.

3 Universal joint shaft for steering column

4 Hex bolt

• M8 x 25

• Tightening specification => [ Steering Column ] [1][2]Specifications.

• Nacom column: Is installed without locking compound.

• Presta column: Must be installed with locking compound. Use locking compound (D 000 600)
