Fuel Level Sensor G, Removing and Installing

- Fuel delivery unit, removing => [ Fuel Delivery Unit, Removing and Installing ] Fuel Delivery Unit, Removing and Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Welding wire (2 mm material strength)

- Bend an 80 mm long welding wire as shown.





Dimension - a -: 10 mm

Dimension - b -: 70 mm

Removing

- Disengage and remove the wire terminals for the fuel level sensor - 2 -.

- Press the welding wire - 1 - in - direction of the arrow - into the opening under the sensor.





- At the same time, push the fuel level sensor - 2 - in - direction of the arrow - out of the guides.

Installing

- Insert fuel level sensor in the guides on the fuel delivery unit and push down until it engages.

- Connect connector and check for secure locking.

- Install Fuel Pump (FP) => [ Fuel Delivery Unit, Removing and Installing ] Fuel Delivery Unit, Removing and Installing.
