Mast Antenna

Removing

- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.






- Remove the antenna mast by unscrewing the mast from the antenna body.

- Remove shroud.

- Remove antenna nut and adapter.

- Remove the cowl trim panel.

- Disconnect the antenna body cable from the instrument panel antenna cable.

- Remove the wheel house liner as necessary to gain access to the mounting fasteners.

- Remove the antenna body and cable assembly from the fender.

Installing






- Install the antenna body and cable assembly to the fender.

- Insert antenna cable through the opening in the fender.

- Seat the grommet in the side panel and connect the cable to the instrument panel harness connector.

- Install the antenna nut and adapter.

- Install the shroud.

- Install the wheel house liner.

• Ensure that the antenna mast is fully seated on the antenna base and that there is no gap between the mast and the base.

- Install the antenna mast. Tighten to 5 Nm (46 in lbs).

- Connect the antenna cable to the instrument panel antenna cable.

- Install the right side cowl trim panel.

- Connect the battery negative cable.
