Hood

Removing

- Raise hood.

- Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the location of the hood hinges (3) on the hood (2) to aid installation.






- Remove nuts (1) attaching hinges (3) to hood (2).

- With the aid of a helper, remove the hood (2) from the vehicle.

Installing

- Position hood (2) onto the hinges (3).






- Loosely install nuts (1).

- Align hinges with reference marks made previously and tighten the nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft lbs).


Prior to fully closing the hood, verify that the striker and latch are in alignment.

- If required, adjust the hood to the correct position.
