Seats: Adjustments

Second and Third Row Bench Seat Back Hinge, Synchronizing Cable Adjustment






- Remove the seat back hinge covers from the drivers side of the seat. Refer to => [ Seat Back Hinge Cover ] Seat Back Hinge Cover.

- Remove the recliner synchronizing cable from the hinge by pulling the cable end (1) toward the front of the hinge.

- Release the U shaped locking tab (2) on the self-adjusting mechanism in order to disengage the auto adjust feature.

- Reattach the self adjusting mechanism, pulling against the spring load to the tighten cable.

- Press the locking tab onto the adjusting mechanism in order to lock into place.

- Install the seat back hinge covers to the drivers side of the seat. Refer to => [ Seat Back Hinge Cover ] Seat Back Hinge Cover.
