Engine Block Heater

Removing






- Drain the cooling system. Refer to => [ Cooling System Draining and Filling ] Cooling System Draining and Filling.

- Disconnect the power cord (2) plug from the block heater (1).

- Loosen the screw in the center of the block heater.

- Remove the engine block heater (1).

Removing






- Clean the block core hole and heater seat.

- Insert the block heater with the element loop positioned upward.

- With the block heater seated, tighten the center screw securely to assure a positive seal.

- Install the power cord (2) cord to the block heater (1).

- Fill the cooling system. Refer to => [ Cooling System Draining and Filling ] Cooling System Draining and Filling.
