Removal and Replacement

Oil Pump

• The oil pump is contained within the timing chain cover housing.

Removing

- Remove the oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Removal and Replacement.

- Remove the timing chain cover. Refer to => [ Valve Timing Covers ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the oil pump from the timing chain cover. Refer to => [ Oil Pump ] Overhaul.

Installing

- Install the oil pump to the timing chain cover. Refer to => [ Oil Pump ] Overhaul.

- Install the timing chain cover. Refer to => [ Valve Timing Covers ] Service and Repair.

- Install the oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Removal and Replacement.
