Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve

Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve

Removing

- Remove the positive crankcase ventilation hose (1) from PCV valve (2).

- Remove the PCV valve (2) by pulling it out of the rocker arm cover.

Installing

The PCV valve should sit approximately 4.3 mm below the top surface of the rocker arm cover nipple. The valve should snap into a molded-in feature at the base of the nipple. Applying a light layer of grease to the PCV valve grommet will aid in assembly. Push the valve into place by applying a load to the top surface of the valve using a socket or handle of a hammer, if necessary.

- Install the PCV valve (2) to rocker arm cover.

- Install the PCV hose (1) to PCV valve (2).
