Headlamp Alignment Switch: Service and Repair

Headlamp Switch

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (RMCP101)

Removing






- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.

- Using trim removal wedge (RMCP101) or equivalent, insert onto the outboard edge (1) and pry out in order to remove the switch from the dash bezel.






- Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the switch and remove the switch from vehicle

Installing






- Connect the electrical connector (1) to the headlamp switch.

- Place the headlamp switch into the bezel and snap firmly into place.






- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.
