B1288 - Trip/Toggle Switch Performance

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to.

• When Monitored: With the ignition ON.

• Set Condition: The instrument cluster detects the trip/toggle switch active for greater than 20 seconds.






Test Step 1 - Check for an Active DTC

• Turn the ignition ON.

• With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

• Replace the instrument cluster.

• Perform Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non
- DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior

No

• Test complete.
