B142E - GPS Antenna Not Connected

Test Step 1 - Test Antenna

• Turn the ignition OFF.

• Disconnect the GPS antenna connector.

• Inspect the GPS antenna connection.

Was the antenna connection clean and secure?

Yes

• Go to Test Step 2.

No

• Repair the antenna connection as needed.

• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior

Test Step 2 - Antenna

• Using the GPS antenna service information, test the antenna.

Is the antenna OK?

Yes

• Go to Test Step 3.

No

• Repair or replace the antenna assembly as necessary.

• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior

Test Step 3 - Radio

• Reconnect all previously disconnected components.

• Move vehicle outside approximately 30ft from any structure.

• Turn the ignition and radio ON.

• With the scan tool, erase the audio DTCs and operate the navigation system.

• With the scan tool, read the audio DTCs.

Did this DTC reset?

Yes

• Replace the radio.

• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior

No

• Test Complete.
