B1B94 - Passenger Seat Track Position Sensor Circuit High
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to.
Theory of Operation
When powered, the occupant restraint controller sends a test current to the seat track position sensors to verify the integrity of the sensor and wiring. the use of the ORC connector adapter tool in the tests below provides a test point in place of the module.
• When Monitored: The ORC monitors the status of the seat track position sensor circuits continuously.
• Set Condition: This DTC sets when the ORC detects a short to voltage on the seat track position sensor circuits for more than 2.5 seconds or if current is below threshold. This DTC transitions from active to stored when the module sees a recovery from the shorted to voltage condition for greater than 5 seconds.
Always perform the Pre - Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding.
Test Step 1 - Determine Active or Stored DTC
