B1E2F - 3rd Row Seat Left Backrest Switch Circuit High
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to.
• When Monitored: Continuously.
• Set Condition: When the power folding seat senses voltage over 4.9 volts on the left seat recliner switch MUX circuit for longer than 300 milliseconds, this code will set.
Test Step 1 - DTC present
• With the scan tool, record and then erase DTCs.
• Turn the ignition OFF, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition ON.
• Operate the seat recliner switch several times.
• With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
• Go to Test Step 2 => [ Test
Step 2 - Check the folding seat select switch MUX circuit voltage ]
No
• Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors for an intermittent condition.
• Perform Power Folding Seat System Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test
Test Step 2 - Check the Left Seat Recliner Switch MUX Circuit Voltage
• Disconnect the left power rear folding seat recliner switch connector.
• Measure the voltage between the left seat recliner switch MUX circuit and the seat recliner switch return circuit at the power folding seat switch connector.
Choose result:
Over 4.9 volts
• Gain access to and check the left seat recliner switch MUX wire in the seat harness for a short to another circuit. If OK, replace the power rear folding seat module.
• Perform Power Folding Seat System Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test
4.9 volts
• Replace the left power rear folding seat recliner switch.
• Perform Power Folding Seat System Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test
