B1E4D - 3rd Row Seat Left Stow/Tailgate Position Sensor Performance

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to.

• When Monitored: During all power 3rd row seat activations.

• Set Condition: If the FSM detects that the left stow motor hall sensor count value is outside of the acceptable range of values.






Test Step 1 - Check For DTCS

• Turn the ignition ON.

• With the scan tool, read FSM DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

• Go to Test Step 2 => [ Test
Step 2 - Inspect Seat Mechanical Operation ]

No

• Clear the stored DTC.

• Perform Power Folding Seat System Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test

Test Step 2 - Inspect Seat Mechanical Operation

• Gain access to and inspect the following components that could allow the stow motor hall sensor values be out of range:

• Ensure seat legs unfold and latch into proper position.

• seat stow motor damaged or worn.

• Broken seat welds or frame.

Were any problems found?

No

• Perform Power Folding Seat System Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test

Yes

• Repair or replace component as necessary.

• Perform Power Folding Seat System Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test
