Right Power Sliding Door Module

B210A - System Voltage Low

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to.

When Monitored: At all times.

Set Condition: When the TIPM sends a message to the power sliding door module that the vehicle voltage is below 10.0 volts for over 15 seconds, this code will set.

Test Step 1 - Check Engine DTCs

The most probable cause for this DTC in this module is that the charging system or battery has failed causing a low vehicle system voltage.

Ensure the battery is fully charged and serviceable before proceeding.

With the scan tool, read engine DTCs.

Are there any engine DTCs present?

No

Go to Test Step 2

Yes

Refer to symptom list for problems related to engine.

Test Step 2 - Test for an Intermittent Condition

With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.

Start the engine and run for two minutes.

With the scan tool, check for DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B210A - System Voltage Low?

Yes

Go to Test Step 3

No

The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.

Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior

Test Step 3 - Check the Fused B+ Circuit For High Resistance

Using the scan tool, read the battery voltage of the power sliding door module.

Using the scan tool, read the battery voltage of the TIPM (Central Gateway).

Is the voltage within 1.0 volt of each module?

Yes

Replace the power sliding door module.

Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior

No

Go to Test Step 4

Test Step 4 - Check the Left Power Sliding Door Module Harness

At this time it will be necessary to remove the power sliding door drive unit assembly from the vehicle.

Turn the ignition OFF.

Remove the power sliding door drive unit assembly from the vehicle.

Disconnect the power sliding door module connector.

Remove the power sliding door module from the track.

Connect the C383 left body 4 way harness connector.

Turn the ignition ON.

Using a 12 volt test lamp, connect one end to the fused B+ circuit and the other to the ground in the PSDM 6 way connector.

The test lamp must illuminate brightly. Compare the brightness to that of a direct connection to the battery.

Does the test tight illuminate brightly?

No

Repair or replace the track harness as necessary. If you have to order a new harness, be sure to specify if it is for the driver or passenger side of the vehicle. the driver side has a jumper wire in the PSDM connector for driver side identification.
