B2562 - Power Sliding Door Switch Circuit Low
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to.
• When Monitored: Whenever the CCN is awake.
• Set Condition: When the CCN senses low voltage on the sliding doors overhead switch MUX circuit for longer than 10 seconds, this code will set.
Test Step 1 - DTC Present
• With the scan tool, record DTCs.
• Erase DTCs.
• Turn the ignition OFF, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition ON.
• Operate the power sliding doors several times from the power sliding door overhead switch.
• With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
• Go to Test Step 2 => [ Test Step 2 - Check the Power Sliding Door Overhead Switch for a
Short to Ground ]
No
• Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors for an intermittent condition.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior
Test Step 2 - Check the Power Sliding Door Overhead Switch for a Short to Ground
• Disconnect the switch - Bank - No. 2 (PREMIUM) - 8 way harness connector.
• Erase DTCs.
• Turn the ignition OFF, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition ON.
• With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
• Go to Test Step 3 => [ Test Step 3 - Check the Sliding Doors Overhead Switch MUX Circuit
for a Short to Ground ]
No
• Replace the overhead switch bank assembly.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior
Test Step 3 - Check the Sliding Doors Overhead Switch MUX Circuit for a Short to Ground
• Turn the ignition OFF.
• Disconnect the instrument cluster C2 harness connector.
• Measure the resistance between ground and the sliding doors overhead switch MUX circuit in the instrument cluster C2 harness connector.
Is the resistance below 10k ohms?
Yes
• Repair the sliding doors overhead switch MUX circuit for a short to ground.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior
No
• Replace the instrument cluster.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non - DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior
