• When Monitored: With the ignition on.

• Set Condition: The Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) detects an abnormal CAN C Bus message.






Test Step 1 - Verify the DTC is Active

• Ignition on, engine not running.

• With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

• Refer to => Electrical System DTC Based Diagnostics and perform the U0001-CAN C Bus diagnostic procedure.

No

• perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure. Stored Lost Communication DTCs Refer to => Non-DTC Based Diagnostics.
