Park Assist Module

Removing

- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.

- Remove the trim from the right quarter inner panel (2) to access the park assist module (1), which is located to the rear of the C-pillar and above the right rear wheel housing..






- Disconnect the two body wire harness connectors (3) from the park assist module connector receptacles.

- Remove the plastic push-in fastener (4) that secures the module to the right quarter inner panel.

- Slide the module upward far enough to disengage the two lower mounting tabs from the stamped pockets in the right quarter inner panel.

- Remove the module from the vehicle.

Installing

- Position the park assist module (1) to the right quarter inner panel (2), to the rear of the C-pillar and above the right rear wheel housing.






- Engage the two lower mounting tabs of the module into the stamped pockets in the right quarter inner panel.

- Secure the upper mounting tab of the module to the right quarter inner panel using a plastic push-in fastener (4).

- Reconnect the two body wire harness connectors (3) to the module connector receptacles.

- Reinstall the trim onto the right quarter inner panel..

- Reconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.
