Latch Striker

Removing

- Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the position of the door latch striker (3) in relation to the B-pillar (1).






- Remove the two screws that secure the door latch striker to the B-pillar and remove the striker and any shims (2) that may be present.

Installing

- Position the door latch striker (3) and any shims (2) found during the removal procedure to the marks on the B-pillar (1) and install the screws. Tighten the screws to 28 Nm (21 ft lbs).






- Verify door fit and operation. Adjust the striker as necessary.
