C-Pillar Trim Panel, Upper

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Trim Removal Wedge (RMCP101)

Removing






- Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to => [ Rear Quarter Trim Panel ] Rear Quarter Trim Panel.

- Remove and discard the trim cover (4) from the seat belt adjuster (2) on the upper C-pillar (10). The trim cover is not intended for reuse.

- Remove the bolt (3) securing the seat belt guide to the height adjuster.

- Remove the seat belt guide from the seat belt adjuster (2).

- Using a small flat bladed screwdriver or equivalent, carefully pry off the supplemental restraint system airbag logo button at the C-pillar and remove the screw.

- Using trim removal wedge (RMCP101) , gently pry out on the upper C-pillar trim (1) and remove.

Installing






- Position the upper C-pillar trim (1) over the slots and firmly snap into place.

- Install the screw and carefully snap on the SRS airbag logo button at the C-pillar.

- Position the seat belt guide to the adjuster (2).

- Install and tighten the bolt (3) securing the seat belt guide to the adjuster (2). Tighten the bolt to 39 Nm (29 ft. lbs.).

- Install a new trim cover (4) to the seat belt adjuster on the upper C-pillar.

- Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to => [ Rear Quarter Trim Panel ] Rear Quarter Trim Panel.
