Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

Lock Cylinder

Removing

- Remove the exterior door handle (1) and place it on a workbench. Refer to => [ Door Handle, Exterior ] Service and Repair.






- Press the door lock cylinder (2) out from the inside of the exterior door handle.

Installing

- Align the tab on the lock cylinder (2) to the notch on the inside of the exterior door handle (1) and press the cylinder into the handle. Make sure the lock cylinder is fully installed into the handle.






- Install the exterior door handle. Refer to => [ Door Handle, Exterior ] Service and Repair.
