Sunroof Sunshade

Removing

- Remove the water channel. Refer to => [ Sunroof Water Channel ] Sunroof Water Channel.

- Cycle the sunroof motor to the open position.

- Move the sunshade towards the closed position stopping three to four inches from the closed position.

- Press the sunshade in the cross car direction on one side of the sunshade by applying a side load to the shade while pulling up at the front center line of the sunshade. This will cause one foot to pop out of the track.

- Remove the other front foot by rotating the shade (1) out and resting the foot on the top of the sunroof frame (2).






- Pull the shade farther forward in the vehicle and repeat the previous step to remove the rear feet.

- Remove the sunshade (2).

Installing

- Place one side of the sunshade (1) feet into the top track frame (2).






- Arc the sunshade to allow the feet on the opposite side to go into the top track of the frame (2).

- Move sunshade to the open position.

- Verify that the sunshade moves back and forth properly.

- Cycle the sunroof towards the closed position.

- Position the sunshade so that the handle is in the center of the opening.

- Install the water channel. Refer to => [ Sunroof Water Channel ] Sunroof Water Channel.
