Description

Vehicles equipped with 2nd row heated seats utilize a set of electrical contacts for the seat wiring. One contact is fastened to the seat frame at the front inboard latching mechanism. The other contact (1) is located on the inboard 2nd row seat striker. These contacts provide electrical current to the seats for the 2nd row heated seat option while still allowing for complete seat removal from the vehicle. The contacts automatically disengage or engage as the seat is removed or installed. The contacts slide past each other as the seat is rolled to and from the strikers.
