Timing Belt Pulley Inspection






The tensioner pulley (1), bracket (3), and pivot bolt (2) are serviced as an assembly.

- Inspect the pulley (1) for free movement. Replace if the pulley is loose, seized, or difficult to rotate.

- Inspect the pulley bearing and seal. Replace if damaged.

- Inspect the pivot bolt (2) for free movement in the assembly housing. Replace the assembly if the bolt is seized or there is excessive looseness.
