Front Overhead Console Reading Lamp

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (RMCP101)

Removing






The front reading lamps that are incorporated into the overhead console have light emitting diode illumination and the bulbs are not serviced separately. Should the lamp pod require replacement, the overhead console must be removed.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.

- Disconnect the lamp electrical connectors (1) from the main harness.






- Insert trim removal wedge (RMCP101) or equivalent at point (1) and flex the housing in order to remove the light pod from the console.

Installing






- Using trim removal wedge (RMCP101) or equivalent, flex the housing at point (1) and install the new lamp pod into the console.






- Connect the lamp connectors (1) to the main harness.

- Install the overhead console.

- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.
