Rear Overhead Console Reading and Courtesy Lamps

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (RMCP101)

Front, Removal








- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.

- Remove the rear overhead console.






- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the light pod

- Insert trim removal wedge (RMCP101) or equivalent at point (1) and flex the housing in order to remove the light pod from the console.

- Remove the light pod from the overhead console.

Front, Installation






- Install the light pod into the overhead by inserting trim removal wedge (RMCP101) or equivalent, at point (1) and flex the housing in order to install the light pod into the console.

- Connect the electrical connectors to the light pod.






- Install the rear overhead console.

- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.

Rear, Removal






- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.

- Remove the rear overhead console.






- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the light pod

- Insert trim removal wedge (RMCP101) or equivalent at point (1) and flex the housing in order to remove the light pod from the console.

- Remove the light pod from the overhead console.

Rear, Installation






- Install the light pod into the overhead by inserting trim removal wedge (RMCP101) or equivalent, at point (1) and flex the housing in order to install the light pod into the console.

- Connect the electrical connector the to the light pod.






- Remove the rear overhead console.

- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.
