Headlamp Leveling Switch

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.






- Using a trim stick, gently pry headlamp bezel away from dash panel.

- Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the leveling switch.






- Squeeze the two metal retaining clips (2) on each side of the switch and remove the switch (3) from the bezel.

Installing

- Install the switch (3) through the front of the trim plate ensuring that the locking tabs (2) are secure.






- Connect the electrical connector (1) to the switch.

- Align the trim plate locating holes, and snap firmly into place.






- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.
