Map Light: Service and Repair

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (RMCP101)

Removing






- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.

- Using trim removal wedge (RMCP101) or equivalent, gently pry the light emitting diode door lamp from the door panel.

- Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the LED lamp.

Installing






- Install the electrical connector to the LED door lamp.

- Note the positioning of the mating rib and notches in the LED lamp, and carefully snap the lamp back into the door panel.

- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Headlamp ] Headlamp.
