Short Runner Valve Solenoid

Removing

- The short runner valve solenoid (1) is located on the left side of the engine on the intake manifold.






- Disconnect the wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the SRV solenoid.

- Remove the SRV solenoid bolts (1).

- Carefully pull the SRV solenoid (2) straight out of the intake manifold.






Installing

- Position the SRV solenoid (1) into the intake manifold. Align the SRV solenoid shaft into the notch (2).






- Rotate the SRV solenoid until its aligned to the intake manifold notches (4) and (5).

- Install the SRV bolts (1).

- Connect the wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the SRV solenoid.
