Blind Spot Module: Service and Repair

Blind Spot Module

Removing

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.






- Remove the trim from the right quarter inner panel to access the blind spot module (1), which is located to the rear of the vehicle at the right D-pillar (4)..

- Disconnect the body wire harness connector (3) from the module connector receptacles.

- Remove the fasteners (2) that secures the module to the mounting bracket.

- Remove the module from the vehicle.

Installing

- Position the blind spot module (1) to the right D-pillar (4), at the rear of the vehicle.






- Install the fasteners (2).

- Reconnect the two body wire harness connectors (3) to the module connector receptacle.

- Reinstall the trim onto the right quarter inner panel..

- Reconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.
