Headlamp Lamp Igniter, HID Lamps Only

Removing






- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.

- Remove the front wheelhouse liner..

- Remove the boot from the rear of the lamp/igniter.

- Depress the lock tab on the igniter electrical connector (3) and disconnect.

- Depress the lock tab on the igniter (2) and turn the igniter counterclockwise.

- Remove the igniter (1) from the headlamp.

Installing






- Install the igniter (1) onto the headlamp.

- Twist the igniter clockwise until the locking tab (2) engages.

- Connect the igniter electrical connector (3).

- Install the boot to the rear of the igniter.

- Install the front wheelhouse liner..

- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment.
